Obituary

Donna Marie Benjamin Theriault of Kingsland, Georgia passed away on April 25th, 2019. She was born on January 4th, 1952 in Rumford, Maine to Edward and Helen (Vienneau) Benjamin. She attended St. John’s Catholic School and graduated from Rumford High School. Donna married Gary Paul Theriault on May 26, 1973 in Portland, Maine. She served as a Navy wife for over 22 years. She spent time living in Maine, Connecticut, Washington, Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Florida. She recently moved back to Kingsland with her husband when he retired in 2015.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 46 years and her two children, Danielle Theriault Tuttle of Kingsland and Andrew Theriault of Winter Park, Florida; two grandsons, Ethan and Luke Tuttle; brothers, David Benjamin (Ann) of Spofford, New Hampshire, Tim Benjamin (Pat) of Inman, South Carolina, Paul Benjamin (Jean) of Rockland, Main, Richard Benjamin (Ann) of Oak Grove, Missouri, and Raymond Benjamin of Lisbon, Maine; and a sister, Debra Avena (Bruce Rajewski) of Griswold, Connecticut.

Donna enjoyed gardening and took great pride in her lilies. She loved traveling with her husband, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and she could be found every Saturday during the fall cheering on the Dawgs.

Her greatest pleasure in life was being a wife, mother, and a grandmother. She had a beautiful heart and has left behind a legacy of love. She will be missed by many and will live on in our hearts and memories.
